 The Ice Window to my Soul

The glass window came about on thinking of the line ' the window to my heart' I thought it would bee good to add a ice cold frame over the heart. This represents the fact that people will think she is cold.because they think that is her heart, but her heart is inside, but people can not see thing due to her heavy appearance that stops people to getting to knowing her. But also links back to my back story of she needing to find true love to break ice around the heart.

The heart 

 The heart was done over 3Ds Max's First. Then started to model and sculpture it over on Z brush. Here is the progress in doing so.

 Added small details to make it look realistic.

In this heart, if you look a little bit closer you will see a heart shape within the real heart, However, it is broken. These veins needs to be connected, through the power of  'True Love', so it can build a strong warmth to over ride the cold ice around her heart.

Here is alive- looking pumping heart with veins, showing it is alive, healthy, normal working heart, displaying the fact she is alive and still has a 'heart'- shows she is a kind person.

I used references of a looking heart, as every heart is unique. I gave small adjustments to support this giving its own heart, but still keeping the old tradition of what a heart looks like.

I looked at this reference photo to get right proportions and style of a heart.

I will need to make the heart smaller. I have experimented with lighting the heart, making it transparent. However, I like the blue showing a little bit more, rather than everything being transparent, because it adds to my theme of cold.

This not a prop.

It is part of her, her personality , who she is. How she walks. Talks.

I have experiment with making her 'look' all ice, even though it fit the theme, but I felt something was missing like it doesn't stand the way I vision her. I thought of having something that will shows something is blocking to see her heart - I thought of 'the window to her heart' and that's why it is a diamond shape covering the heart.
