Two Props- Base Crystals and Snow Flake

This is my base of my character, where she will be standing. These are her Props

First one Prop:
Crystals coming from the ground, showing the controlling mess she is in with her power.

I worked over 3ds Max  and brought it over Z brush just to work on it a bit


I did some experimentation on Z-brush making the base. I thought doing it over 3ds max will give a better result for the things i wanted.

I looked at a real life examples of how crystals are designed  and directions they are going in and trying to get the same result of scatteredness and spikes, that crystals gives. This helped for the spikes to appear more realistic, which I wanted it to have.
I did some research on the Crystals.  The photo on the right is Quartz Crystals. which is a cloudy white,with straight line done the middle. It is a healing Crystal , that produces energy. It give Alaska more of an energy build to the her power making it hard for her to control her strengths. The Quartz crystals can keep away nightmares, cause a positive on the brain and no negatives thoughts. (Stone Medicines) This is to show the fact Alaska is clam in her situation, due to this Quartz crystals that lines under her feet.

The Second Prop:

It all started over in 3Ds max. I did a line drawing to create this effect. However, When brought it over to 3ds Max, there were an issue, so I thought i  would re do the Snowflake. I made a snow flake over in Zbrush. The snowflake is a little bit spiky, to display the harsh looking snowflake this is, because her power doesn't do good, so i gave it a settle look of a harsh snowflake to match her power and what she represents as a character.
